The Dutch pianist and soprano Charlotte Asberg received her master's degree classical piano with high honors in 2006 by Tonie Ehlen at the Hogeschool Zuyd, Maastricht Conservatory. She took from her sixth year piano lessons with Roxan Nanu and Janine Dispa-Van Mever and later on singing at Anke Den Biezen. Already at age 12, she won first prize at the Dutch national Steinway Competition. This was followed by several performances for large venues.

After high school, Charlotte lived and worked for one year in Wisconsin (USA) where she was active as a piano accompanist for choirs and soloists, and as a soloist. The first three years of her studies she completed conservatory at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven (Belgium). She studied piano with Jan Vermeulen and Mariko Narasaki. She took singing lessons at Dina Grossberger and Gerda Lombaerts. The last two years of her Bachelor study she completed in 2004 at the Conservatory of Utrecht (HKU) with Alan Weiss. There she received the diploma and executive teaching degree with honors.

During her Masters, she has specialized in the piano solo and chamber music repertoire. In 2010, Charlotte was the winner of Flanders Opera Studio as a rehearsal pianist, where she accompanied the singers throughout the year during master classes, concerts and projects.
She took master classes with H. Austbø, S. Maghenzani, JC. Van den End and E. Rodrigues., Graham Johnson, Sarah Walker, Martine Reyners, Micaela von Gegerfelt, Yannis Pouspourikas, Pietro Rizzo

Together with her sisters (Marleen Asberg, Evelien Asberg, Violinist and Singer), they perform as a regular trio. In 2003 she performed in concert several times at Vredenburg in Utrecht, including the Chamber Choir of the HKU. She worked with Hennie Diemer led by Henk Smits as co-coach for the opera production "Fall Staff". She is active as accompanist to include Gemma Visser, Gidon Saks, and she is a regular accompanist to teacher and conductor Peter Eijkenboom with which she does solo and choir projects.

In addition to her executive tasks, she has her own teaching practice.

In the field of popular music, she is no stranger also.
In Amsterdam, she studied for a short period jazz singing with Lydia van Dam. In Valkenburg has worked with renowned artists participating in the Limburg Proms concerts where she had leading vocal roles.
Last season, she escorted the Music Hall Group Antwerp, for the musical "Dance of the Vampires".
She is often sought for projects and concerts as a soloist and accompanist, both singers and choirs from the Netherlands and Belgium and theater companies such as Walpurgis, Transparant and The Brussels Operetta Theater.
In 2010 she played for the European Embassy with tenor Patrick Kabongo. She was also in that year on tour in Colombia with Joachim Brackx and Jolien de Gendt, where she both sang and played.

This season she sings solo in several concert series in Dutch Limburg with Pierre Colen and ensemble. Charlotte also played in Geleen (Limburg) the soprano role from the musical "Moulin Rouge" in cooperation with Mixed choir Voces vocales, the Belgian tenor Robert Lutz and Mezzo Soprano / Alto Lien Haegeman.
